Officers were called to a property on Corrales Rd after a man threatened to attack people with a stick. The property owner — the suspect’s own father — had hired two workers to clean the lot after village citations. His son, who had been living in a red shed on the property and was evicted the day before, came out screaming that they were stealing his belongings and attacked one of the workers. The worker was found with wounds on the head with two large lacerations, plus injuries to his nose, arm, ribs and back. The suspect was still on scene yelling and was taken into custody after being read Miranda. At the jail he told EMS he was in “Russia.” He was booked into Sandoval County Detention Center.
