Witnesses reported an unresponsive female passed out behind the wheel at an Acme parking lot in Audubon, NJ, on August 21, 2024. Sergeant Justin Tracy arrived to find Erica in a silver 2023 Kia with an open container of alcohol in plain sight. After waking her, the officer observed clear indicators of impairment, including the odor of alcohol. Erica failed to follow instructions during standardized field sobriety tests—including the HGN and Walk and Turn tests—leading to her arrest for operating under the influence while in physical control of the vehicle. Under John’s Law, her vehicle was impounded, and she was later released to a sober adult after processing at the Audubon Police Department. Court records revealed this was her 5th DWI arrest, preceding additional arrests in early 2025.
