Officers arrived at a residential neighborhood after receiving reports of a woman threatening a neighbor and behaving erratically. Upon arrival law enforcement located the suspect who was speaking incoherently and making bizarre statements about the world ending. The complainant stated the suspect had entered their yard and hurled insults before throwing objects at them. When officers attempted to issue a notice to appear for assault and trespassing the suspect became irate and refused to leave the area. The situation escalated when the suspect threatened to return and harm the neighbors before pulling her pants down in the middle of the street. Officers then informed her she was under arrest but she pulled away and refused to place her hands behind her back. Law enforcement officers brought the suspect to the ground to secure her in handcuffs. She was subsequently transported to a local county jail. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An arrest is not a finding of guilt: that’s something for a court to decide.
