On August 16, 2025, Hoboken Police Officer Losurdo was outside of Hoboken Police Headquarters when he observed a vehicle drive the wrong way down Hudson Street, which is a one-way street. Officer Losurdo initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 21-year-old woman. The police report indicates that Officer Losurdo detected a strong odor of alcohol and he noted the woman to have glassy eyes and slurred speech. Officer Guido arrived to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, the woman was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence (DWI). She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, where she agreed to submit to an evidential breath test. The result of the breath test was not released by the police department. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until guilty in a court of law.
