In this video, we cover a police incident on July 28, 2024, at the Sunset Motel in Seaside Heights, NJ, where officers responded to a disturbance call involving a male and female involved in a physical altercation. Upon arrival, Officer Hendrickson observed the male suspect yelling at and pulling the female suspect by her purse. When officers attempted to intervene, the male suspect resisted arrest, and the female tried to obstruct officers, leading to both being detained. The female suspect was charged with obstruction and later released with a court summons. After some time in custody, she requested medical attention and was taken to Community Medical Center. Her case is currently pending in court. During the booking process, the male suspect’s aggression escalated. After being informed by officers, including Patrolman Wright, that he needed to wait for water, he allegedly threatened officers and took an aggressive stance. He then attempted to strike an officer, leading to his forcible placement in a cell, where he continued to be disruptive. The male suspect faces charges of obstruction, resisting arrest, and assault, and he has been transported to Ocean County Jail with his case also pending in court.
