#CrimeCamNow On Monday, April 25, 2022, a Brookhaven police officer spotted two sports cars speeding on Buford Hwy in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer caught up with the vehicles and the driver of a Corvette kept going while the driver of a McLaren slowed down. The officer pulled over the Corvette and asked the driver why he was speeding. The driver explained that he was trying to keep up with the McLaren, whose owner was celebrating his birthday. The officer then asked for the driver's license, but the driver didn't have a valid one. The driver was arrested and charged with reckless driving and driving without a valid license. During the arrest, the driver asked the officer to make a couple of phone calls. He explained that he had a date that night and needed to blow out some candles at home.
