Sergeant Holt, who made the initial traffic stop, reported that Miranda swerved through the center divider 9 times. During the stop, Sgt. Holt also recovered a fake ID. Arresting Officer Proffer, a rookie at the time, responded with her field training officer, who provided guidance throughout the incident. Miranda later blew a 0.116 / 0.117 BAC during the breathalyzer test at the station. Before the arrest, Officer Proffer asked Miranda to pose as if she was “skiing” as part of a field sobriety test.
