On August 12, 2024, police officers responded to a residence in Royal Palm Beach following a report of an Amazon driver being blocked in by a resident with his car. Upon arrival, the Amazon driver recounted that she was delivering a package when the man began yelling at her for using his parking space. Despite ignoring him and proceeding to deliver the package, upon her return, the man's wife emerged from their residence and confronted the driver in the parking lot, getting in her face. The Amazon driver started recording the interaction, capturing the wife moving closer to her and then knocking her phone out of her hand. The wife, who had been inside the residence when the officers arrived, denied hitting the phone. She was subsequently arrested on charges of simple battery.
