The caller, 43-year-old Nicholas Pierce also stated to emergency call takers that he was armed with a knife. When officers arrived at the home, they encountered Pierce coming out of the house armed with a large knife. Officers gave repeated commands to drop the knife, but Pierce refused. Instead, he advanced on the officers, and he charged at the officers with the large knife in his hand while also appearing to give commands to his dog to attack the officers, as well. As Pierce continued towards the officers, they deployed tasers which had limited effect. Three LMPD officers discharged their firearms and Pierce proceeded to charge at them again with the large knife remaining in his hand. Pierce continued holding them at bay with the knife preventing officers from rendering immediate aid. Ultimately, they were able to disarm him and perform medical aid. Medics transported Pierce to University of Louisville Hospital where he died from his injuries on Sunday, May 12th, 2024. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - Brian Parker - Sean Sheldon - Marvin Tobar - Lee Roberts - 'Mr. Unknown' - Katie Eberl - 'iqtester.org' - Josef Rex - 'Skydog' - Jesse - Ádám Lampért - Sabrina Bewey - Kelly Goodwin - Anthony Martinez - 'wuzy' - 'Jun' - 'Xenik' - 'Rom' - kyle McBurnett - 'Fishy Tuna' - 'GotsNoGroove Cheryl' - 'CombatKid' - Exus Altimus - 'Dawesenm' - Paul Rohrbaugh - 'Krazy KZ' - Koby Bland - Christopher Payne - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'JTrip' - Brant Eaton - 'wvot' - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - Meighan Garrick - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on X: https://x.com/Police_Activity - Links to the Best Dash Cams you can buy.
