UNBELIEVABLE BODYCAM FOOTAGE captures the tense moments when Tiverton police respond to reports of an erratic driver. Upon arrival, officers find a grey SUV with Massachusetts plates stopped at an intersection, the driver unresponsive and slumped over the steering wheel. The vehicle is running, in drive, with the driver’s foot on the brake and doors locked. 👮‍♂️ As officers attempt to rouse the driver, he suddenly begins to drive forward, nearly colliding with a patrol vehicle and heading toward a nearby house. In a split-second decision, an officer breaks the driver’s side window, reaches into the moving vehicle, and puts it in park to prevent a potential disaster. Despite repeated commands, the driver attempts to drive off again, prompting the officer to remove the keys and forcibly extract him from the vehicle. Subsequent investigation reveals the driver had a blood alcohol content of .211, over twice the legal limit, and was unaware of his location, believing he was in another state. Empty alcohol bottles are found in the vehicle, and the driver is arrested and charged with DUI. ✅ LIKE if you support law enforcement’s quick thinking. ✅ SUBSCRIBE for more real-life police encounters. ✅ COMMENT BELOW: What are your thoughts on the officers’ handling of this situation? ⚠️ WARNING: This video contains real police footage and may be unsettling to some viewers.
