A quiet, exclusive Atlanta neighborhood was rocked by violence when socialite Lita Sullivan was tragically shot in her home in 1987. She answered the door to an unexpected delivery of pink roses, and before she could even take them, she was struck down. This terrible act set off a painful and lengthy investigation, quickly zeroing in on her estranged millionaire husband, Jim Sullivan, who was locked in a nasty divorce. Authorities faced dead ends, including a polygraph test that suggested his innocence, until new evidence emerged years later from a wrongful death civil suit and a crucial phone record linking a rest stop payphone near Atlanta to Jim Sullivan in Palm Beach just minutes after the murder.
