On February 24, 2026, Marion Police officers responded to a call involving 18-year-old Saber Bernard, who had reportedly requested police contact and was discussing what officers later described as "after-life topics." What began as a conversation quickly escalated into a deadly officer-involved shooting. In this video, we examine the released dispatch audio, 911 calls, and bodycam footage documenting the final moments leading up to the fatal encounter. The footage shows officers attempting to communicate with Bernard before the situation rapidly deteriorated. The case has drawn significant public attention, not only because Bernard initially sought police contact, but also because questions were later raised regarding the release of edited bodycam footage and access to unedited recordings. #Police #Bodycam #PoliceBodycam #OfficerInvolvedShooting #MarionPolice #SaberBernard #PoliceFootage #TrueCrime #LawEnforcement #BodycamFootage #PoliceShooting #BreakingNews #CrimeNews #911Call #Investigation
