🚨 NEARLY 2-HOUR ARKANSAS POLICE CHASE INVOLVING STOLEN PENSKE TRUCK🚨 On August 17, 2026, around 4:00 AM, Arkansas State Police Trooper Josiah Masterson was notified that Russellville Police and Pope County units were pursuing a stolen white Penske truck westbound on Highway 64. The pursuit continued onto I-40, where the driver was reportedly traveling around 70 MPH, weaving across multiple lanes, driving onto the shoulder and median, and throwing items from the vehicle. Multiple law enforcement agencies attempted to stop the truck, including the deployment of spike strips and several Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) attempts. According to the police report, the suspect repeatedly avoided the spike strips and continued driving recklessly. The vehicle also allegedly made several hard brake checks and at times traveled into oncoming traffic on Highway 23. The pursuit continued through multiple areas before reaching Madison County and the Huntsville area. The suspect reportedly passed vehicles in a no-passing zone and drove through grass and private property while attempting to evade officers. The pursuit eventually came to an end near Eagle Creek after the truck left the roadway and became stuck in the creek. The driver, identified as **Trevor Larochelle**, allegedly fled from the vehicle on foot. Officers pursued Larochelle and attempted to take him into custody. After he reportedly refused commands to place his hands behind his back, Trooper Masterson deployed a Taser. Larochelle was then taken into custody and transported for medical evaluation.
