🚨 130 MPH Motorcycle Pursuit — Ray County, Missouri (June 27, 2024) A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper clocked a motorcycle at 103 mph in a 55 zone on Highway 10 near Highway 210. The rider — Taylor Brackett — failed to stop at the intersection and accelerated eastbound, reaching 130 mph as the pursuit continued. Ray County Sheriff's Office deputies had already attempted to stop the same motorcycle minutes earlier but terminated due to extreme speeds. The rider matched the description: white male, white shirt, black backpack. Brackett fled across multiple roadways, cutting through a school parking lot, jumping a curb, and driving into a ditch before re‑entering the roadway. Richmond Police joined the pursuit as Brackett continued northbound on Route A and westbound on Route E at high speeds. At Route E and Morton Road, Brackett failed to negotiate a curve and crashed, ending the pursuit. He was taken into custody at 2223 hours. During the arrest, officers located: A glass pipe containing a crystal substance in Brackett’s pocket A Glock-style handgun with no serial number lying next to the motorcycle Methamphetamine found during the search Brackett initially refused to identify himself but later admitted his first name to EMTs.
