An evening traffic stop for a suspected DUI takes a surreal turn when a driver attempts to explain her way out of an arrest with some of the most bizarre excuses ever recorded on body cam. From "registration in the fridge" to shirt-less steak shopping, this interaction is one you have to see to believe. Officers from the Westfield Police Department pulled over a 42-year-old mother of two after receiving multiple calls about a vehicle being driven in a highly dangerous and erratic manner. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer was met with an immediate series of red flags. The driver appeared heavily impaired and struggled to provide basic documentation, claiming at one point that her vehicle registration was kept in her refrigerator. As the investigation continued, the excuses only became more unbelievable—including a claim that she was simply on a quick run to buy steaks for dinner, despite her unusual attire and inability to stand straight. Watch as the officers conduct a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) and attempt to navigate the driver's increasingly incoherent explanations in this full look at the incident. --- #BodycamBase #Bodycam #DUI #Police #WestfieldNJ #Drunk
