03/07/2025 at 2:54 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Jonathan Hernandez-Perez of Hoboken, NJ along with a 42-year-old male, Luis Ramos-Colon of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Hernandez-Perez was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Ramos-Colon was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Hernandez-Perez was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty
