On October 27, 2023, Secaucus Police Officer Fuardo observed a vehicle driving without headlights and failing to maintain her lane. Officer Fuardo ran the vehicle's license plate on his computer and it came back as a stolen vehicle. He initiated a traffic stop and arrested the 24 year-old woman (it happened to be her birthday). He subsequently unhandcuffed her and had her perform standardized field sobriety tests and declared that she passed the tests. She was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property and for an outstanding warrant. She also received citations for driving without a license and driving on marked lanes. She was transported to the County Jail. She failed to show up for court and another warrant was issued for her arrest.
