On July 30, 2023, St. Petersburg Police Officer Perez stopped a 23-year-old female motorist for speeding. Officer Perez also said the woman was drifting in her lane and suspected her of consuming alcohol. The woman is asked to step out of her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. The woman claims her father is a lawyer and she wants to discuss the matter with him. She eventually agrees to perform the walk-and-turn test and the one-leg stand test. She is placed under arrest for DUI and then tries several attempts to get out of the arrest. The police report indicates she was offered an evidential breath test and refused. The charges and the outcome of the case are discussed at the end of the video.
