This video shows the pursuit which ended in the Office Of Professional Standards Investigation C18-014 which resulted in the suspension of Trooper Brandon Porter. Trooper B. Porter (E-31) attempts to stop a Grand AM for fictitious tags, the vehicle flees leading E-31 on a pursuit in city limits. Sgt K. Fontaine (E-3) monitors the radio and responds. Another Trooper (E-38) also responds. The pursuit hit a top speed of over 100mph and was brought to the end after the suspect took a 90 degree turn too quickly, E-31 also took the turn too quick crashing into some sandbags and a fire hydrant outside of a property. The suspect ran on foot and was taken into custody. SGT Fontaine and Major John Foster requested the pursuit to be investigated after the crash was deemed avoidable.
