On August 15, 2024, Lakewood Police Officers were dispatched to a home where a woman was reporting that her ex-husband's new girlfriend was drunk and would not leave. When officers arrived, they encountered a 31-year-old woman sitting in her car in the caller's driveway. After questioning the woman, she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. Due to physical impairments, the tests were not completed and the woman was arrested for DUI. Once placed in the back of the police car, she became whiny and very annoying, frequently acting like an irresponsible toddler. The police report indicates she submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.168% BAC. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
