Police released body‑cam footage of a traffic stop on Aug. 30 that shows an officer fatally shooting 37‑year‑old Rajon Belt‑Stubblefield. The video captures Belt‑Stubblefield throwing a gun away and telling his teenage son to pick it up, then the officer punching him before firing twice in his chest and once in his head. The family calls the killing an “execution” and, with attorney Ben Crump, is pushing for charges and full transparency. The case has intensified scrutiny of Aurora police’s history of excessive force and racial bias and investigations by the attorney general and district attorney are ongoing. #mustwatch #bodycam
