A local Whatcom County man is stopped by Whatcom County Sheriff's deputies for crossing the center line. Officers discover the man drivers license is suspended and has no insurance. The driver explains to deputies that he was involved in a accident on Interstate 5 that resulted in a death last year. The deputies evaluate the driver and suspect he is under the influence of a substance The driver performs many fields sobriety tests in which is he fails, however officers are still unable to determine if the driver is intoxicated or not.The question remains, will the driver be arrested or be let go?
