On January 25, 2025, a Clayton County deputy attempted to stop a pickup truck traveling suspiciously slow — just 5 mph — on Tara Blvd. What started as a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a DUI arrest after the driver, Craig McCobb, refused to cooperate and fled the scene. Despite the low-speed attempt, deputies ended the chase with a PIT maneuver.
