On October 15, 2024, deputies with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding 43-year-old Lucas Alleman, who was wanted for multiple sexual offenses involving minors. While detectives were at the Star Police Department with the victim and a family member, Alleman threatened he was armed and would kill himself. He was later located near the 9800 block of West Hill Road, Boise, at a sports complex. Using a drone, deputies tracked Alleman to a tree near a football field. As he walked toward his motorcycle and reached the tree-line, deputies commanded him to show his hands and deployed distraction devices. Allegedly, Alleman then drew a handgun and was struck by deputy gunfire. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was investigated by the CITF (Critical Incident Task Force) led by the Boise Police Department. Prosecuting Attorney Grant Loebs reviewed the case and cleared the deputies of criminal charges. ⚠️ Viewer discretion is advised as this video contains law-enforcement footage and details of a fatal shooting. ⚠️ Disclaimer This video contains real law-enforcement footage and descriptions of a fatal officer-involved shooting.
