The vehicle matched the description of a suspect vehicle identified in an attempted homicide out of the city of Albany earlier in the day. According to Albany Police Department, 35-year-old Rakim Tillery shot a victim in Albany at around 1:00 p.m. He then fled the scene, driving southbound on I-87. A traffic stop was conducted on the Mercedes. Tillery immediately fired on the troopers who both returned fire, striking Tillery. Tillery was pronounced deceased on the scene. Troopers Missale and Raymond, both assigned to Troop T, SP Newburgh, were transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and later released. The shooting victim was treated on the scene, and taken to Albany Medical Center. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - 'Michael' - 'VALMA' - Sabrina Bewey - Kelly Goodwin - Anthony Martinez - 'wuzy' - Shane AL Walker - matthew emanuel - 'Jun' - 'Xenik' - 'Rom' - 'wvot' - 'Cartoonjunkies' - john ferroato - 'Fishy Tuna' - 'GotsNoGroove Cheryl' - Lynn Boyer - Exus Altimus - 'Dawesenm' - William Bowman - Paul Rohrbaugh - Sandra McGreevy - 'Krazy KZ' - Koby Bland - Christopher Payne - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'JTrip' - Brant Eaton - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - Meighan Garrick - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity - Links to the Best Dash Cams you can buy.
