When officers opened the doors, they were immediately hit with the strong smell of alcohol—and a 1.75-liter bottle of tequila sitting on the floor. After being shaken awake, the driver seemed completely disoriented, unsure of where she was. Officers had to confiscate her key fob after she tried to restart the vehicle. Once she stepped out, she struggled to stand without support, confirming their suspicions of severe intoxication.
