They watched the group pull up a stringer of fish and place them into a white cooler. As they motored to the shoreline to drop an officer off, one individual wearing a black shirt was observed walking the cooler to the other side of the bridge. In the end, the officers recovered 6 undersized snook with the largest measuring 20 inches in total length. The suspect, later identified as a 33-year-old named Ivan was charged with harvesting undersized snook, harvesting snook by illegal method, exceeding the recreational snook bag limit, excessive possession of a protected fish, and resisting or interfering with a wildlife officer. He bonded out the next day and later pled guilty to harvesting undersized snook, harvesting snook by illegal method, and resisting or interfering with a wildlife officer.
