Police bodycam footage captures the moment an Orange City officer confronts a gas station employee accused of theft. On January 9th, 2025, managers at a local racetrack gas station contacted law enforcement after discovering significant discrepancies in their register logs. They reported that a cashier had been systematically voiding legitimate sales and pocketing the customer cash, resulting in a total loss of approximately $900 over the course of several weeks. The officer arrived at the scene and began reviewing store surveillance footage to verify the claims. While the officer was still observing the security feed, the suspect arrived at the store to begin her scheduled shift. The officer immediately moved to apprehend the employee as she walked through the door. This police bodycam recording provides a clear look at how authorities handle reports of employee theft and the subsequent arrest process.
