On January 21st, 2024, officers in Ohio responded to a call regarding a fight at a house divided into two units. The upstairs tenant, the caller, reported that the downstairs tenant had allowed the suspect into the house. Initially, there were no issues until the suspect attempted to enter the upstairs tenant's son's room, leading to the tenant asking the suspect to leave. Upon arrival, officers warned the suspect multiple times to leave the residence, as she was not welcome in either apartment. Despite the warnings, the suspect pretended to pack her belongings but then sat on the kitchen floor, refusing to leave. After a final warning, officers attempted to arrest the suspect for trespassing. During the arrest, the suspect kicked one of the officers in the groin and resisted being handcuffed. Eventually, the suspect was restrained without further force but refused to walk, forcing officers to carry her to the patrol car. She continued to resist by kicking at the car doors, attempting to prevent officers from securing her in the vehicle. The suspect was transported to the local jail, where she continued her resistance.
