A suspected shoplifting scheme quickly unravels when officers confront a man accused of purchasing stolen merchandise for resale. Instead of cooperating, he decides to take off running through a shopping center parking lot. What follows is exactly the kind of decision-making you’ve come to expect on Shane’s Dumb Criminals. As officers give chase, the suspect ignores commands to stop and learns the hard way that outrunning a TASER isn't nearly as easy as he thought. The result is a spectacular faceplant that turns a bad plan into an even worse outcome. Watch the full bodycam footage as officers investigate the alleged theft operation, attempt to take the suspect into custody, and bring his brief escape attempt to an abrupt end.
