On February 24, 2025, a routine traffic stop escalated when officers noticed the loud engine of a silver Camaro driven by 22-year-old Javon Antoine Baker. What started as a noise complaint quickly unfolded into a tense standoff over rights, supervisor requests, and a misuse of 911. Despite repeated warnings, Baker’s refusal to exit the vehicle and his call to emergency services led to his arrest on charges of misuse of 911 and resisting arrest. Officers remained calm but firm as the encounter unfolded, with the incident captured entirely on bodycam.
