Officers were on patrol in the area of Columbus Avenue and Cedar Street when they observed three motor vehicles idling in the Roxbury Community College parking lot. As officers drove their cruiser into the parking lot, one of the vehicles fled the scene towards New Heath Street. Officers conducted a pat frisk of the other occupants and recovered a firearm from White. Officers now began to search the vehicle and recovered a second firearm. Officers also recovered a headphone case containing multiple rounds of ammunition. The firearms were later determined to be a stolen Smith and Wesson M&P Shield with one round in the chamber and seven rounds in the magazine, and a Taurus P92 with an empty fifteen round magazine. The headphone case contained fifteen 9mm rounds of ammunition. White and Laronde were placed under arrest and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
