A police helicopter rescue in Van Buren, New York turned into a wild moment when the chopper got so low it touched the water. Deputies were called after someone spotted a goldendoodle named Cooper struggling in the middle of the Seneca River. The water was freezing, and Cooper was having a hard time staying afloat. Video shows the Air One helicopter hovering just above the river while a deputy, strapped to the aircraft, leans out and pulls Cooper from the water. After the rescue, Cooper was cold and shivering, but he was taken to safety and later reported to be okay. One of those rescues where every second mattered.
