On September 17, 2024, Sagamore Hills Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. When officers arrived on scene, a homeowner described a scenario where a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and drove all over his front yard. In the process, the 21-year-old woman caused extensive damage to her vehicle. Officers interviewed the woman, who admitted coming from the MGM Northfield Park Casino. She also admitted to consuming alcohol during the evening. Officers administered field sobriety tests to the woman, who was ultimately arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). At the police station, she refused to provide a breath sample. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
