On Sunday, April 29th, Officer Alexis Keeton received a Life Saver commendation ribbon from Chief Frank Kemp Jr. for her actions during a call in mid-March. Officer Keeton responded to a welfare check on a woman in her 50s who had recently been released from the hospital. Upon arrival, Officer Keeton and Officer King found the woman in a back bedroom, unresponsive and not breathing. Officer Keeton immediately began life-saving actions and was able to restore a pulse as North Canton medics arrived. Thanks to Officer Keeton’s quick response and decisive action, the woman regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Officer Keeton has been with North Canton since June 2021 and was a finalist for Officer of the Year in 2022. Congratulations and well-deserved, Officer Keeton! ⚠️Note: Footage from this video was obtained via the Ohio Public Records Act (R.C. 149.43) All persons featured on the channel are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
