On June 10th, 2022, a police officer responded to a hit-and-run incident involving a highly intoxicated female driver. A witness at the scene provided details of the accident, recounting how the driver, visibly distressed and intoxicated, crashed into his vehicle and pleaded with him not to call the authorities. Upon arrival, the officer found the female driver in an emotional state, and after performing several field sobriety tests, which she failed, he confirmed her impairment. The driver admitted responsibility for the crash and was arrested for driving under the influence and hit-and-run.
