On July 5, 2025, at approximately 3 a.m., Sgt. Michael Losurdo was flagged down by a security guard at Green Rock, 70 Hudson Pl., because a man wouldn’t leave the bar. Police Officers Carmen Benitez and Nicklas Valerius arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation determined the man, later identified as 33-year-old John Samaan of North Arlington, had been kicked out for harassing women inside of the bar and taking off his t-shirt after being told repeatedly to stop doing so. During the investigation Samaan walked back toward the bar and rolled up his sleeves, as if he was ready to fight. When officers told him he had to walk away, he began to yell at them. He was told if he didn’t walk away, he would be arrested. Samaan refused to leave, and when he was being placed under arrest, he resisted. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was released on a summons after processing. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #bodycam #resistingarrest Get vidIQ to grow your channel faster! 🚀 https://vidiq.com/BodycamBeat
