A Stuart police officer stops a white Toyota Corolla after watching it drift into the bike lane on the Roosevelt Bridge and weave across the lane divider. The 23-year-old driver insists she's fine -- "I drank a little bit, but not like anything crazy" -- and tells the officer she has never been pulled over in her life. Not once. Field sobriety exercises tell a different story. She steps off the line, interrupts the instructions, and counts to 18 on the one-leg stand before the officer stops her. At the jail, she blows .153 and .154 -- nearly twice Florida's legal limit -- and admits to "two tequila seltzers." The twist: one of her backseat passengers had already been arrested for DUI that same night, by the same officer. Charges: DUI (F.S. 316.193), Driving on Sidewalk/Bicycle Path, Failure to Drive in Single Lane. Full case files and more footage at bodycamzero.com All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This footage was obtained through a public records request and is presented for educational and informational purposes.
