An Arkansas State Trooper observed a gray SUV traveling southbound in a reckless manner, swerving into the center turning lane and passing multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was initially clocked at 86 MPH in opposing traffic mode. As the trooper turned around and attempted a traffic stop with emergency lights and siren activated, the driver—later identified as Leah L. Taylor—failed to yield. During the pursuit, the trooper observed the driver holding a small dog inside the vehicle while continuing to drive in a dangerous manner. The SUV continued through changing speed zones into Conway, where the driver committed multiple traffic violations, including running a red light and driving at speeds up to 65 MPH. The pursuit escalated when the vehicle entered Interstate 40 East by crossing a median and entering oncoming traffic. The pursuit was safely ended when the trooper successfully performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI), bringing the SUV to a stop. The driver was taken into custody without further incident. This video contains dashcam footage and details from the pursuit. #ArkansasStatePolice #PoliceChase #Dashcam #TVI #Arkansas #Pursuit #Trooper #HighSpeedChase #LRHNCash
