On 6/4/2022, Trooper J. Valentin (I-12) was stationary when he observed a blue jeep pass him with no rear view mirror and a tinted license plate. After getting behind the vehicle I-12 noted several 'suspicious' actions by the driver and passenger and attempted to perform a traffic stop. The vehicle fled. I-12 was in pursuit for several minutes before the suspect crashed. As I-12 was about to take the suspect into custody a male stepped out of the vehicle and pointed a gun at Trooper Valentin's direction. I-12 Continued driving past the vehicle and turned around to find out the suspect was gone and had carjacked somebody. The incident report is in the comments. #arkansasstatepolice #policechase #statepolice #arkansaschase #dashcam #lawenforcement #shotsfired #gun #highspeedchases #crash #news
