On August 18, 2025, in Palm Coast, Florida, deputies responded to a burglary at a smoke shop. When confronted, the suspect refused to exit her vehicle and led deputies on a chase that ended at her home. The suspect, who had a felony warrant out of Vermont for robbery, initially resisted arrest before being placed in handcuffs. While deputies were securing the scene, the handcuffed suspect made a sudden dash to escape on foot but was quickly recaptured. She was arrested and charged with Petit Theft, Fleeing and Eluding Deputies, and Resisting Arrest. She also remains wanted in Vermont for Robbery, Assault, and Violating Probation.
