Bodycam footage from the Orland Park Police Department in Illinois captures a bizarre traffic stop with a sovereign citizen who demands a $10,000 payment from officers in exchange for his driver's license. Police initiated the traffic stop after the man, identified as Antonio, was seen driving recklessly and cutting through a funeral procession. The driver was immediately confrontational, arguing about his rights and refusing to provide his license and insurance. He then told officers he would comply, but it would require a "payment" because his license is his private property. After a lengthy and circular argument with multiple officers, including a supervisor, the driver still refused to identify himself. When officers informed him he was under arrest, he had to be forcibly removed from the car after they broke his window, leading to a struggle on the ground. A subsequent search of his vehicle revealed large quantities of cannabis and psilocybin mushrooms.
