On July 17, 2025, Ocoee Police Officer Vicente stopped a vehicle for having no registration. The vehicle was being driven by a 56-year-old woman who claimed she didn't need vehicle registration because she was an "American State National". Once backup arrived, the woman was instructed to exit the vehicle. She refused and Officer Hopkins began to smash out her driver's side window. She then unlocked her door and was extracted from the vehicle. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Orange County Jail.
