Deputies carried a bed-bound resident out of a building filling with smoke in St. Petersburg. Last Thursday, deputies responded to a structure fire and worked with firefighters to evacuate residents. Inside one unit, Deputy Areostatico found a bed-bound resident. With no wheelchair available and smoke steadily entering the unit, Deputy Areostatico called on Deputy Hery to help. Together, they carried the resident out to safety.
