At approximately 8:20 PM, a Sea Girt police officer assigned to a foot post outside The Parker House was notified by security that a male subject had been expelled from the establishment. The officer confirmed this with staff and watched the man walk away down Beacon Blvd. About 15 to 20 minutes later, security flagged the officer down to report that the man had attempted to re-enter but was intercepted. The officer approached the individual, directly informed him he was not permitted on the premises for the rest of the night, and warned him that returning would result in an arrest for trespassing. The individual acknowledged the warning and walked away again. However, around 9:00 PM, the man returned, appeared to check if anyone was watching, and tried to sneak in through a different entrance. A security guard stopped him midway up the staircase, and the officer placed the man under arrest. The individual was searched, transported to headquarters, and charged with defiant trespassing. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty
