Putnam County Sheriff's Office Police body cam and dash cam from the State of Florida (**REDACTED PARTIAL POLICE REPORT**) On 11/25/2024 at approximately 1944 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the residence of| to a person shot. While en route Central Communications advised a male had been shot in the head. Upon arrival, Deputies secured the scene and contacted the victim, V1 Stated he was shot by a known suspect, later identified as Anthony Pezza (D1). Detective Borbely contacted V1 on 11/25/2024 V1 was at his residence and went outside after he heard something hit the side of the residence. V1 stated he then went outside and saw his former roommate, Anthony "Antonio" Pezza. V1 stated they had been trash talking each other over an ex girlfriend when he was shot by Anthony. V1 stated he knew it was Anthony "Antonio" Pezza because they had previously lived together for two years. V1 stated Anthony was wearing a mask over his head and still recognized him due to his short stature. V1 stated Anthony was accompanied by another male, but did not know his name. V1 stated he might be able to identify the second person at a later time. V1 had sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen and to the side of his head. V1 advised the shooting was most likely recorded on his Ring surveillance camera. Detective Borbely reviewed video surveillance from the Ring recording and observed the following. At approximately 1940 hours, two males approach the residence of The shorter male, identified as Anthony, pickups a hard object and throws it against the residence to have V1 exit the home. Anthony confronts V1 at the porch and is heard stating "take the phone out your hand, ...you the police bro." Anthony raises his right hand and fires a short burst from a handgun at V1 person. The quick burst of gunfire is indicative of a Anthony which has the been manipulated into a fully automatic firearm. Immediately after Anthony shoots, the Ring camera captures another flash and another gunshot from where the second male was located. Both Anthony and his accomplice turn and flee from the residence. On 11/25/2024, at approximately 1940 hours, Anthony Pezza lured V1 out of his residence after they had been engaged in trash talking over an ex girlfriend. Anthony indicated V1 was unarmed and standing in front of him. Anthony displayed a firearm and shot at V1 ultimately striking him in the abdomen and head. Bullet strikes into the occupied residence and shell casings were located at the scene to corroborate the shooting along with the injuries to V1 person. The gunshot wounds to V1 person consisted of an abdominal wound and an almost fatal grazing wound to the head.
