No bodycam. No radio call. No report. ABC15 reports that Phoenix Police insiders say unreported contacts known as “ghost stops” happened in South Phoenix—and that officers may have used alternate radio channels outside normal dispatch monitoring. The revelation follows criminal charges against former Phoenix officers Antonio Felix and Luis Vasquez Jr., who are accused of conducting a violent, off-the-books traffic stop. Phoenix is now examining the former officers, their squad and South Mountain Precinct for additional misconduct, patterns of behavior or broader systemic problems. No bodycam does not mean no evidence—unless nobody looks for the rest of it. ▶️ WATCH THE FULL PHOENIX/TEMPE BREAKDOWN: https://youtu.be/B99wY03aF00 The charges remain pending. Allegations are not convictions. The precinct audit is an investigation and does not, by itself, establish wider misconduct. 📌 TAKE ACTION — KEEP ALL CONTACT FACTUAL AND LAWFUL: Phoenix Police complaint portal: https://www.phoenix.gov/administration/departments/police/public-safety-services/online-reporting-forms/phoenix-police-department-complaints---compliments--online-porta.html Phoenix Office of Accountability and Transparency: https://www.phoenix.gov/administration/departments/accountability.html Arizona POST compliance information: https://post.az.gov/compliance 📰 SOURCES: ABC15 “Ghost Stops” investigation: https://www.abc15.com/news/local-news/investigations/ghost-stops-phoenix-pd-insiders-say-unreported-stops-happened-in-south-phoenix City of Phoenix precinct-audit announcement: https://www.phoenix.gov/newsroom/police-department-news/city-of-phoenix-launches-audit--releases-records-after-arrest-of.html 📄 Story tips, resources & support 👉 https://www.thinblueliesmedia.com Submit police accountability tips, bodycam footage, public records, court documents and local story leads. #PoliceAccountability #PhoenixPolice #GhostStops
