The Akron Police were driving down Tallmadge Avenue, east of Dayton, when an officer observed a small black sedan speeding in the opposite westbound lane. The vehicle dangerously passed between four to five other cars in a no-passing zone, kicking up dirt behind it. The officer turned around and attempted to catch up but could only see the taillights of the speeding car for most of Tallmadge Avenue until it turned northbound onto Carpenter. Despite having lights and sirens activated, the officer couldn't stop the vehicle as it continued to evade, turning westbound onto Shelby and then northbound onto Garfield, running through intersections without stopping. The vehicle eventually pulled into a driveway and parked at the back. The officer saw a male exit the vehicle and run into the house. Approaching the driveway, the officer saw the same male in the house through a northside window. A female, later identified as Cherrelle Chambliss, the vehicle's owner, exited the home. The male, later identified as Patrick Johnson, came out of the house and was uncooperative. Chambliss and Johnson continued to yell until additional officers arrived. Johnson, who smelled heavily of alcohol, was taken into custody without further incident. Initially, he refused to provide his personal information and was found to have a suspended driver's license. Chambliss confirmed that Johnson was trying to reinstate his license. The officer explained to Chambliss that she would be given a break on the Wrongful Entrustment charge and explained what that meant. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the officer found an open bottle of tequila on the driver's seat. Johnson's immediate area was searched, but nothing else was found. The vehicle was released to Chambliss. Johnson was charged with multiple offenses and sent to the county jail. Females name is: Cherrelle Chambliss
