Michael Straten, and Police Officer Andrias Bonilla responded to Domino’s, 462 Newark St. on reports of a man refusing to leave. When they arrived, they found a man who fit a description of the actor, later identified as 37-year-old Jeffrey Whitaker of Jersey City. They observed a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance, suspected to be CDS crack cocaine, in his hand. Whitaker swallowed the baggie, despite officers' attempts to stop him. He was placed under arrest and transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. He was charged with possession of CDS, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Once released from the hospital, Whitaker was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
