On August 1st, 2024, Palm Bay Police responded to a theft report involving a woman who stole a carton of cigarettes and fled in a white van. When officers located the van, the woman immediately tried to run, only making things worse. Even after being taken into custody, she remained combative and uncooperative, only mentioning her baby when reality set in. Despite her resistance and erratic behavior, officers handled the situation professionally, recovered the stolen items, and arrested her.
